Aha! Did you pass it, if you had one recently?
Oh! I think I might be thinking what you are thinking right now. I can bet with my life that your thought would be one of these;
• ”I am a ‘x’-year graduate, why would I need to do a Chemistry test again?”
• “I am not a Science student; I haven’t even ever studied Chemistry, let alone do a test on it”
• “Shwo! This “Alhaji “ guy must be kidding me; abeg abeg abeg, I’m outta here”.
Oya wait first! Before you go. Let me break it down so that you know what I’m talking about.
First, let us see if you even know the definition of the Chemistry sef. Hehehe…even me sef wey do Sciences, I had to think about it wella to be sure I want to do this write up; but it is a BIG yes! I’m sure gonna do this. For real, so that we can be conscious of how well we handle the exigencies and complexities of the course. I can imagine you are still thinking…”What’s the biggie with this Chemistry of a thing, ehn!
Oya, without much “minini”, make we define the thing sef. Lol.
Going by the books, Chemistry is the study of matter and the interactions between them. Okay o. we don know that one now. But for the purpose of this subject matter, I will be focusing on “titration”, which is the act of mixing several soluble chemical substances to arrive at another, through what is called a reaction. Ehn! You are correct. You just thought aloud….and I heard your mind say “chemical reaction”…and that is very correct… So, my simple way of depicting titration is “adding something to something to lead to another”; and in chemistry, it is often a higher state that is arrived at. I call it a state of “highness”.
